Tara’s Disclosure Policy
Recently the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) decided that bloggers hoping to make some profit off the stuff they write need a disclosure policy. So here is my guidelines and ethics concerning how I make money from this blog.
- I try to make money from every post I put on Awakening Tara. My primary goal is to inform and entertain, but if I can make a little money that would be good.
- Every product link on this blog is an affiliate (hopefully profitable) link. If you purchase something a few bucks will head my way. I appreciate you helping me to keep this going.
- I do not get the products for free, but if someone would like to send me a free product to review I would gladly accept. The acceptance of a free product does in no way encourage me to give a positive review. In fact if I give a bad review I consider that as doing a positive service to the manufacturer.
- If you choose to send me an email, the information in your email is mine to use as I please such as quoting on my blog. Most likely I will ask for your permission first, but I reserve the right.
Hopefully, the above statement helps you to understand how I keep this small corner of the World Wide Web in operation and covers everything the FTC requires. I am sure they will notify me if it doesn’t.
If you have any questions, you can contact me at tara@awakeningtara.
